Jeffrey W. Cottle focuses on white-collar crime and compliance matters, with an emphasis on fraud, corruption, anti-money laundering, trade sanctions and export controls. Working with our multiple offices around the world, he serves a global client base on multi-jurisdictional issues. Jeff regularly conducts internal investigations of potential breaches of company policies and law, as well as the defense of investigations by external regulators and enforcement agencies such as the US Department of Justice, the US Securities Exchange Commission, the UK Serious Fraud Office, the UK Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation, the US Office of Foreign Assets Control, the US Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, the US Bureau of Industry and Security, and other enforcement agencies in Europe and elsewhere.
