Jyrki Nissilä

Senior Advisor Jyrki Nissilä, Trade Promotion Unit of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland       Counsellor Jyrki Nissilä has been Senior Advisor in the Trade Promotion Unit of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland for four years, since September 2020. His duties include advising companies seeking to internationalise. He is the Ministry’s contact person in export promotion matters between the Finnish regions and the mission network of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.        Jyrki Nissilä has worked in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs since 1996. He has held various positions, including Head of Unit in 2014 to 2018. He has also been on foreign assignments in Jakarta, Indonesia, in Berlin, Germany, in New York, the United States, and in Ottawa, Canada.        Jyrki Nissilä holds a Master’s degree in political science and is an adult education teacher at the University of Turku.
